We do advise all Potential Puppy Owners to do their homework on the breed, Attend Shows and Working Rallies and if possible Fun Weekends to get the feel for the breed and ask owners of these fabulous dogs as many questions as you can about living with them and working them. Having re-homed many dogs over the years from Rescues we'd like to make sure puppies will go to the correct homes when they leave their mother and not end up in Rescue Centres. The Sire and Dam must have been hip scored and eye tested with satisfactory results before mating. Don't be afraid to ask for the results and/or see the certificates. You must vett your breeder the same way as they would vett you. If you're not happy walk away! We have had two wonderful litters in the last three years. The mother of both these litters was Millie. The Sire of the first litter was our very own Soldier and the Sire of the 2nd litter was Chayo James Bond at Snowstruck ShCM aka Shadow owned by Jane York. Millie was the most wonderful mother. All the puppies were weaned onto the BARF Diet. We now no longer breed Alaskan Malamutes. We have decided to devote our time not only with our own dogs but with Rescue Siberian Huskies through the Siberian Husky Club of GB Welfare by fostering and raising much needed funds. Please don't over look a Rescue dog, many come in to Welfare through no fault of their own. 2nd Hand Dogs give 1st Hand Love!
